Ms. McAvoy has over 28 years of experience with Deloitte and
is based in Dallas and serves as the Lead Client Service
Partner on Collective Brands Inc. and the Advisory Partner
on JC Penney and Academy Sports & Outdoors. Ms. McAvoy is
currently the Mid-America Region’s Retail Sector Leader. In
this role she assists our client service teams by bringing
Deloitte’s best multifunctional resources to our retail
clients and is responsible for overseeing overall quality of
service delivery and growth of the retail practice. Ms.
McAvoy has led the development of retail thoughtware
focused on top line growth in her role as US Retail Sector
Leader from 2006 to 2007. Ms. McAvoy holds a Bachelor of
Science degree in Accounting from the Pennsylvania State
University.

David is an assurance partner in the Consumer and Industrial
Products group in Fort Worth, Texas and serves as the lead
engagement partner for RadioShack Corporation and The Bombay
Company, Inc. He has spent the past 14 years in the United
States, principally in the New York office serving clients
in the retail and consumer products industries. He relocated
to Texas in the Spring of 2002, transferring from San Jose,
California, where he spent almost two years serving public
and private companies in the internet and software industry.
David originally began his career in the London office and
has over 18 years of public accounting experience. He has
recently been involved in advising his public clients’
preparation and compliance with the relevant financial
reporting provisions of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002.
David received a BSc (Economics) from the London School of
Economics and Political Science and is a Fellow of the
Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales. He is
also a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in California,
Connecticut, New Jersey, New York and Texas.

Sandra Mason is the Manager of Financial Development and
Systems Support for JCPenney. Sandra has over 30 years
experience in the Retail industry with 25 of those years at
JCPenney. She has held numerous positions at JCPenney
including Assistant Manager for their Shared Services Center
in Salt Lake City and Regional Budget Manager in Chicago
supporting stores in the northeast region. In 2002 she was
the recipient of the Chairman’s Award of Excellence. Sandra
is an active volunteer and member of the Women’s Leadership
Council for the United Way.

Bill Chinn

Bill Chinn graduated the University of Iowa in 1989 and
started with Grapevine based video game retailer GameStop
the very next day. Bill had numerous promotions in both the
Field and Corporate Organizations before becoming Senior
Vice-President of Stores in 2000. In that capacity, Mr.
Chinn was responsible for all 4,000 of GameStop’s US stores
and 22,000 of its employees. He has been instrumental in
leading the numerous acquisitions conducted by GameStop over
the last six years. Bill is currently pursuing his MBA at SMU
and is actively consulting on GameStop’s acquisition
strategy.

of Ernst & Young LLP. He has over fourteen years of

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Texas Christian

Steve is President of SageBerry Consulting, LLC, a boutique
consulting firm that advises retail, consumer and luxury

Prior to founding his own firm, Steven was Senior Vice
President of Strategy, Business Development & Marketing for
the Neiman Marcus Group.
Prior to joining Neiman Marcus in 2004, Steve was with Sears
Holdings in a number of senior leadership roles, including
Vice President, Corporate Strategy, head of the Lands’ End
acquisition integration team and Vice President,
Multi-channel Integration. Earlier in his career, he was
with the NutraSweet Company and was a management consultant
with Booz & Co.
Steve received his B.A. in economics from Tufts University
and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School. He resides
in Highland Park with his wife and their two daughters.

Director for JCPenney Stores. Tim has over 16 years of

positions at JCPenney including Divisional Controller

Manager in Salt Lake City and Project Manager for
Development of Inventory Financial Processes. Tim has
also spent time as an Internal Auditor in the north-east
region and the real estate area. He received the 2004

PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Dallas and in a training role for
PriceWaterhouseCoopers in London, England before joining
Neiman Marcus within the marketing group in 2000. She is the
recipient of the NM Best award recognizing excellence in
customer service, positive attitude, teamwork and

John joined 7-Eleven earlier this year. Before joining
7-Eleven, John was Vice President and Assistant Controller
at Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. and Vice President and Controller
of Wal-Mart International. Prior to joining Wal-Mart, John
held a number of executive positions including Vice
President and Controller of Acuity Brands, Inc., Chief
Financial Officer of Zep, Inc. and Chief Financial Officer
of Recall Corporation. Earlier in his career, John was a
partner at KPMG, LLP.
John is a CPA and an attorney and
holds degrees from Southern Methodist University and the
University of Mississippi.
