The Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) Retail Executives Association (REA) is a professional organization dedicated to promoting interaction and fostering an exchange of ideas among area retailers. Our membership represents many of the foremost retailers in the Metroplex. The association was established in 1978 to:

Provide meaningful and relevant information to its members

You are important to the DFW REA. We want you to benefit from membership, knowledge and experience of our current membership. We also want to learn from you and your Company's unique retail experiences, problems and opportunities.

Meetings and Activities:
REA meets approximately once a month from September to April.
Social and Networking from 6:00 - 7:00 P.M. (Hors d'oeuvres, beer/wine).
Presentation and Q&A 7:00 - 8:00 P.M. Meetings feature a speaker who addresses timely issues in the retail environment.
Our speakers are usually CEO's and founders of the major retail organizations in DFW and throughout the country.

This season's meetings will be held at SMU Cox School of Business in The Collins Executive Education Center.

***Texas A&M Retailing Summit - October 7 and 8***

The Retailing Summit is THE conference for retailing executives. For a day and a half, 300 retailers from across the nation and abroad will gather in Dallas. For those retail executives that are seeking new employment opportunities, we have formed the DFW REA Transition Networking Group. This group will meet monthly to encourage networking and sharing of job leads and contacts as well as give participants a chance to “prospect” for new opportunities.
