President Dave Middendorf, KPMG LLP. Dave is a partner in the Food, Retail & Distribution
Practice of KPMG LLP with more than 18 years experience providing audit services
to clients in the retail industry including the lead audit partner role on
several Fortune 500 retailers. He has in-depth
experience with numerous client transactions including initial public offerings,
major acquisitions and dispositions, bankruptcy, forensic audits and filing
registration statements with the SEC to registered debt and equity securities. Dave worked in KPMG’s Department of Professional Practice
in New York City, from 1997-1999, specializing in inquiries related to
accounting and SEC matters. He was also involved in developing the firm’s
position on new accounting pronouncements including EITF issues and FASB
pronouncements. Dave’s memberships include the AICPA, NRF and the
Advisory Board of Texas A&M University Center for Retailing Studies. He
received a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree from the University of
Cincinnati. Dave has served on the REA board since 2005. First Vice President Scott Miracle, Ernst & Young LLP Scott
is a partner in the Retail Consumer Products practice of Ernst
& Young LLP. He
has over fourteen years of experience providing assurance
services to Fortune 1000 companies in the retail and consumer
products industries. He has extensive experience with
acquisitions, debt and equity offerings and corporate governance
matters. Scott received a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from
Texas Christian University.

Treasurer Gary
Collier, Sears Holdings Gary
Collier is the Director of Accounting Services for Sears Holdings and is
currently responsible for their National Shared Services Center located in
Dallas. Gary has held numerous roles at Sears from Field Controller to
Director of the Internal Reporting Group in their Corporate Offices located in
Hoffman Estates, Illinois. He and his wife Kathy relocated back to the Dallas
area in April, 2002 and reside in Heath.

Membership Sandra Mason, JCPenney Company, Inc. Sandra Mason is the Manager of Financial Development and
Systems Support for JCPenney. Sandra has over 30 years experience in the Retail
industry with 25 of those years at JCPenney. She has held numerous positions at
JCPenney including Assistant Manager for their Shared Services Center in Salt
Lake City and Regional Budget Manager in Chicago supporting stores in the
northeast region. In 2002 she was the recipient of the Chairman’s Award of
Excellence. Sandra is an active volunteer and member of the Women’s Leadership
Council for the United Way. Sandra has served on the board of REA since 2005. Vice President – Administration Dave Evans, PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP.
David is an assurance partner in the Consumer
and Industrial Products group in Fort Worth, Texas and serves as the lead
engagement partner for RadioShack Corporation and The Bombay Company, Inc. He
has spent the past 14 years in the United States, principally in the New York
office serving clients in the retail and consumer products industries. He
relocated to Texas in the Spring of 2002, transferring from San Jose,
California, where he spent almost two years serving public and private companies
in the internet and software industry. David originally began his career in the
London office and has over 18 years of public accounting experience. He
has recently been involved in advising his public clients’ preparation and
compliance with the relevant financial reporting provisions of the
Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. David received a BSc (Economics) from the
London School of Economics and Political Science and is a Fellow of the
Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales. He is also a Certified
Public Accountant, licensed in California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York and
Texas. Dave has served on the board of REA since
2004.

Al Meyers, Retail Forward
Al is Senior Vice President, Business Development for Retail Forward,
Inc. Al runs the Dallas office of
Retail Forward where he is responsible for client relationships
in the West, Midwest, South
and Central Regions of the U.S. He works with clients to match
Retail Forward’s Intelligence System Programs, consulting and research
to their business needs. Al also serves as a member of Retail Forward’s
Executive and Management Committees.

Steven P. Dennis, The Neiman Marcus Group
Steve joined the
Neiman Marcus Group in 2004 as Senior Vice President of Strategy, Business
Development & Multi-channel Marketing. He is responsible for strategic
planning, new business development and the company’s corporate marketing
initiatives. He also manages the company’s credit card strategic alliance with
HSBC.
Prior to joining
Neiman Marcus, Steve spent twelve years at Sears, Roebuck and Co. in a number of
general management, marketing and strategy development roles, most recently as
Vice President, Corporate Strategy and leader of the Lands’ End acquisition
integration team. Earlier in his career, he was with the NutraSweet Company and
was a management consultant with Booz, Allen & Hamilton.
Steve received his
B.A. in economics from Tufts University and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business
School. He resides in Highland Park with his wife and their two daughters.
